Teaching With Enthusiasm

We need to learn to recite and understand and live by the Qur'an first for ourselves and then to teach it to our children.

We need to teach our children the Qur'an in ways that excite and engage them. For this we need to be ourselves well connected and enthusiastic students of the qur'an. A child can feel and knows when we teach them things that do not interest us and they know when we feel a deep great love about what we try to pass on to them. It truly makes a difference subhanAllah. We must always show this love of the qur'an and also make qur'an most relevant and interesting to them in their present moment everyday lives. Even for us who do not expose our children to television, we must strive to compete with the 2021 world for our children's attention in teaching the things that matter the most. Fitra Haven strives to make resources that will make you parents enthusiastic about teaching your kids while engaging them and helping their little visual minds in connecting with the words of Allah.
